How do I change my personal information?

Log in to your account to be able to access your personal information and to change them.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Click on the “My Account” icon at the top of the page, then “Forgot Your Password?”. An email will be sent to you with your new password.

Orders

How do I place an order?

Browse our website and choose the product(s) you’d like and click the “Add To Cart” button. Your purchase will be placed in our shopping cart, which you can assess easily at the top right hand corner of the page. Continue shopping until you’re done, then click on the “Checkout” button and let us guide you through to payment. Once the order has been confirmed and you have made payment, you will receive an email confirming your purchase with your order and delivery details.

Which delivery service do you guys use? 

We use a local courier company for local orders, and FedEx for international deliveries.

Note: For larger volumes/ orders, The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. may use a different shipping carrier. The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. will not be responsible for any tariffs, taxes or delay in delivery incurred at respective countries' custom. 

How long will deliveries take to reach me? 

Local Deliveries 

Time in Transit:

You should receive your order between 3 to 5 working days from order confirmation. Should your delivery be scheduled late, you will receive an email informing you of this. Please note that once your order has been dispatched, you will not be able to cancel or change your order.

Note: Orders made on weekends or on Singapore Public Holidays will be processed on the next working day. 

Delivery Times:

Delivery is made anytime from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. Deliveries can sometimes be made outside of these hours. If you are not home during this time, we recommend arranging for delivery to your work address instead. Re-deliveries are chargeable at $8. 

Undelivered packages:

If your order is returned to our company because the address entered was incorrect, package was unclaimed, or there was no one to receive the item, re-delivery is chargeable at $8.

International Deliveries

Time in Transit:

You should receive your order between 8 to 24 working days from order confirmation. Should your delivery be scheduled late, you will receive an email informing you of this. Please note that once your order has been dispatched, you will not be able to cancel or change your order.

Undelivered packages:

If your order is returned to our company because the address entered was incorrect, package was unclaimed, or there was no one to receive the item, re-delivery is chargeable.

Payments

Is my information secure on your website?

Most definitely. We use the latest encryption technology, SSL or Secure Server software, to ensure that your personal information is safe and protected. For example, when you order from us, information such as your name, address and credit card number is encrypted so it can’t be read as it is sent over the Internet. We also do not sell or trade your personal information to any third parties.

What payment modes do you accept? 

Payments are processed via PayPal, which accepts payment via a PayPal account, or direct payment via a credit or debit card if you do not have a PayPal account. 

Returns, Exchanges, Refunds and Warranty 

When you buy from the 1872 Clipper Tea Online Shop, we want you to be happy with your purchase. However, we know sometimes you may need to return goods. This policy sets out when you can return goods, and how to do so.

If you have received faulty, incorrect or damaged goods

Whilst we take all precaution to ensure that orders leave our warehouse free of defect and according to order, we do acknowledge that human error might sometimes occur. We apologise in advance. Please email us at info@clippertea.com.sg or call us at +65 6471 0090 (Mondays to Fridays, 9AM to 5.30PM Singapore time. Closed on weekends and public holidays) for information on procedures for returns, exchange or refunds within 14 days from receipt of product in original packaging. NAVA will not be liable for any goods missing during delivery of returns.

When you return goods

Customer shall return goods at his/her own cost. Goods returned shall be refunded at the price which the Customer had paid at the point of delivery.

NAVA will not cover costs of refunding shipping charges unless due to a company error.

Any returns that are verified to be in accordance to our quality standards and/or not due to company's error will be subjected to 25% restocking fee of product cost.

In order to receive full credit, all returns must be unopened in their original packaging and in resalable condition.

PayPal credits refunds according to how the original payment was made. Do note that refunds to credit cards can take up to 30 days or more to appear on your statement.

When you want to exchange items from your order

NAVA will exchange any unopened product for a product of a higher or comparable value within 14 days of receipt. We do not cover costs of returning shipping charges, unless due to company error. Closed on weekends and public holidays) for information on procedures for exchange within 14 days from receipt of product in unopened original packaging.

Warranty of Tea accessories

All tea accessories sold by NAVA are not covered by warranty unless otherwise stated. Material of accessories are also stated in the website. All items shipped out will be checked thoroughly to ensure product is free of defects.

Cancellation

NAVA regrets that any cancellation after orders have been successfully processed will not be approved.

Product Information

How should I store your tea?

Whenever possible, store in an air-tight container (we also have these for sale), away from sunlight, moisture and odours. Exposure to these will cause the tea to deteriorate and lose flavour. You may also wish to store them in your fridge to maintain freshness for as long as possible. However, do note that opening a bag straight from the fridge will result in condensation on the inside of the pack, which, when closed, can then affect the quality of the tea inside.
